The Chicago Area Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce invites business owners and freelancers to join their members at the monthly Mix & Mingle on Thursday, April 22nd at Lucky Strike Lanes.

We invite you to join the Chamber for an active night of networking with great people, opportunity and fun. Networking Lucky Strike Style means open bowling from 6pm to 9pm, light appetizers and two drink tickets to get you started! This is a unique opportunity to strengthen your business relationships and start building new in an environment open to teamwork and a little bit of luck!

The fee for this event is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. For more information on the Mix & Mingle, contact Christina Pinson, Executive Director, at 773.303.0167, or you can visit www.glchamber.org

The Chicago Area Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce serves a roster of over 250 Members, a number that increases almost daily. These members are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) business owners, as well as gay-supportive businesses. Together they employ over 2,000 people in the Chicago area, with gross revenues that exceed $200 million.

Since gay and lesbian tourism brings an estimated $300 million a year to Chicago, it's no surprise that the city has discovered the viability of supporting the LGBT community. Currently, a portion of the Chamber's funding comes from the city government - a far cry from the days when the city of Chicago sought to close gay and lesbian owned businesses.

We envision a bright, prosperous future for all Chamber members. The key to this vision is unity, which we foster through promotional, networking, and advocacy programs. We believe that by aligning our common interests, Member businesses will continue to grow and thrive.
