Felicia P Fields to be Featured as Voice of Audrey II in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

MUSIC ON STAGE, now in its 60th Season of providing Quality Musical Theatre in the Northwest Suburbs, is thrilled to announce that Broadway Star & Tony Award Nominee Felicia P. Fields will be featured as the voice of Audrey II in our production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS this October. We are so fortunate and honored to have a performer of Miss Fields caliber involved in our production.

Fields, a veteran of the Chicago professional musical theater scene, took Broadway by storm with her portrayal of Sofia in the stage musical The Color Purple,for which she earned a Tony Award nomination. Her performance also earned her a 2006 Theatre World Award, a Clarence Derwent Award, two Broadway.com awards, an NAACP nomination and a Denver Post Ovation Award. She was a 2006 Drama League honoree.

Other Chicago credits include pro­ductions at Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace, Theatre at the Center, the Goodman Theatre and Apple Tree Theatre, among others.

Miss Fields has also received a Black Theatre Alliance Award and nominations, many Jeff Award nominations and the award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Sophisticated Ladies.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will run October 14th - 29th, 2017 at The Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, located at 150 E Wood Street in Palatine, IL. Tickets will be available starting July 17th, 2017.

Auditions for ALL OTHER ROLES in this production will be held on Monday August 28th. We are seeking to cast 4 men and 4 women to fill all remaining roles. More information to follow.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will be Directed/Choreographed by Frank Roberts with Musical Direction by Bobby Dietz.
