Faith & Whisky to Host 'Belushi Birthday Blowout Weekend', 1/22-1/23

Faith & Whiskey (1365 W Fullerton Ave), the premier whiskey bar and party spot in Lincoln Park, will host the "Belushi Birthday Blowout Weekend" honoring and celebrating Chicago icon John Belushi's birthday with two themed nights centered around his two most popular movies on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23.

On Friday, January 22, Faith & Whiskey will celebrate Belushi's hit "The Blues Brothers" with the Midwest's premier Blues Brothers cover band live on stage, The Bluz Brothers, performing Jake and Elwood's greatest hits including Soul Man, Sweet Home Chicago, Gimme Some Lovin, and Mustang Sally starting at 9pm.

Faith & Whiskey will give out $100 in cash prizes to both the "Best Female Blues Brother" and "Best Male Blues Brother" during the costume contest at 1am. Jack Daniels drinks and shots will be just $5 on Friday night during the "John Belushi Birthday Blowout Weekend".

On Saturday, January 23, Faith & Whiskey will celebrate Belushi's hit "Animal House" with an "Otis, My Man, Toga Party" featuring the actual Otis Day from "Animal House" live on stage performing hits like Shout, Louie Louie, and Shama Lama Ding Dong starting at 10pm.

Faith & Whiskey will give out $100 in cash prizes to both the "Best Female Toga" and "Best Male Toga" during the costume contest at 1am. Jack Daniels drinks and shots will be just $5 on Saturday night during the "John Belushi Birthday Blowout Weekend".
