Faith & Whiskey To Host Bridesmaid Dress Party 9/5

Faith & Whiskey (1365 W Fullerton Ave), the premier whiskey bar and party spot in Lincoln Park, will throw a "Bridesmaid Dress Party" celebrating over-worked and cash-strapped bridesmaids starting at 5pm on Sunday, September 5 of Labor Day Weekend.

The first 25 females who enter the Bridesmaid Dress Party wearing old bridesmaid dresses will receive a free $40 gift certificate to the just-opened Local Lookbook Boutique as a reward to help them buy a dress (or anything else) they really want as a reward for all the cash they've shelled out over the years on hideous bridesmaid dresses. Drink specials during Faith & Whiskey's Bridesmaid Dress Party include:

Women wearing bridesmaid dresses can sign up to give a 90-second bridesmaid speech they've always really wanted deliver over the microphone at Faith & Whiskey. The speeches will be at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, and 1am. The most creative bridesmaid speech will receive a $100 cash prize at 1:30am. Participants must be present to win.

A wedding DJ, who has spun at over 200 weddings in Wisconsin, will play wedding favorites and pop music starting at 9pm during the Bridesmaid Dress Party.

Faith & Whiskey will also provide complimentary bridesmaid party favors, disposable cameras for picture taking, and a videographer to capture the whole party.

Furthering the theme, Faith & Whiskey will show bridesmaid-type movies (27 Dresses, My Best Friend's Wedding, etc) on its four flatscreens during the Bridesmaid Dress Party.

There is never a cover at Faith & Whiskey.
