The international hit sensation, FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP, is pleased to announce an Artistic Discussion Series. The program will allow cast members of FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP to interact with fellow Chicago theaters and share experiences and visions surrounding their artistic communities. Each theater company will be invited by FUERZA BRUTA to attend a performance then share in a collaborative artistic discussion following the show. Collaboraction will be the first theater company to participate in this program on Tuesday, June 2.

"Collaboraction admires FUERZA BRUTA and their bold approach to making 21st Century Theatre," said Executive Artistic Director of Collaboraction Anthony Moseley. "As we embark on our 10th annual SKETCHBOOK, a mixed media festival of theatre, music and video, we are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with the company and share ideas on theatrical inspiration, process and form."

The Second Company, The House Theatre Of Chicago, will attend on Thursday, June 10.

"I saw DE LA GUARDA ten years ago in New York. VILLA VILLA was one of the most inspiring and formative theatrical experiences of my college years. Steeped in brooding through Stanislovsky and Meisner, DE LA GUARDA re-taught me joy and restored the theatre as a place for people to come together, make friends out of strangers. For The House to be able to participate in an artistic exchange with this company who was so influential on my own personal development is a great honor, and sure to be enlightening for any fans of our work," says Chris Mathews, Company Member, The House Theatre.

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP, the non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion and kinetic aerial imagery that resembles nothing less than a fantastic mash-up between aerial theater and a late-night dance party is currently playing at the Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University through July 25, 2010. The historic landmark theatre's stage and lobby are now transformed into an alternate universe, filled with flying performers, pumping beats, engaging dream sequences and a multidimensional swimming pool above the heads of the audience who stands on stage in the middle of the action.

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP was founded by some of the creators of the international sensation De La Guarda, including Diqui James (Artistic Director & Co-founder/Co-creator); Gaby Kerpel (Composer/Musical Director); Agustina James (General Producer), Alejandro Garcia (Technical Director) and Fabio Daquila (General Coordinator).

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP is presented in Chicago by Broadway In Chicago, S2BN Entertainment and Ozono Producciones.

The Chicago engagement of FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP is sponsored by Toyota Sienna.

At show time, audiences are ushered onto the main stage where they are engulfed in a 360 degree spectacle featuring mind-blowing visual effects just inches above the audience that must be seen to be believed - a man running full throttle on a giant treadmill, bursting through a series of moving walls; performers suspended in mid-air surrounded by a vast sea of mylar; and gorgeous women twisting ethereally in a lucite pool above the audience. Argentinean creative genius Diqui James, one of the creators of the smash hit show De La Guarda, created the original scenes and magnificent customized staging.
