Raue Center For The Arts is pleased to announce a sneak peek of their 2016-2017 Season through May of 2017. Highlights include national acts like Jim Peterik as part of the 5th Annual National Piano Conference at Raue Center (6/25), Michael W. Smith (9/20), Louie Anderson (7/29) and David Sedaris (10/26).

The season also includes Chicago natives including The Buckinghams (11/12) as well as the Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team (2/23). Shows like Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra (12/9) and Steve Cochran's New Year's Eve Comedy Show (12/31) will return for another year!

The season also features performances by Raue Center's in-house theatre company, Williams Street Repertory, including the "ART" and "[title of show]" as part of the The Williams Street TheatreFest in July! In addition to these two shows, WSR will be performing "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" (September), "A Christmas Survival Guide" (December), "First Date" (January), "Any Other Name" (March) and "Guys and Dolls" (April).

Raue Center continues its Mission Imagination program, geared toward younger audiences, with the Mad River Theatre Works drama, "Everybody's Hero," (1/31), which focuses on the life and career of Jackie Robinson, and performances by ArtsPower including "Biscuit" (2/13) as well as "The Monster Who Ate My Peas" (4/27).

Tickets go on sale to RaueNOW Members on May 10 at noon and will be released to the general public on May 17 at noon. Tickets may be purchased online at www.rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
