Exciting New Show at Raue Center for the Arts!

Raue Center is pleased to announce several exciting new shows coming to downtown Crystal Lake during the 2016-2017 Season! This season will include a wide variety of fantastic shows ranging from absurdist off-Broadway comedy to a performance by a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter!

Get ready to laugh with Lucy's Comedy Café at 8:30 p.m. on August 19, 2016! The show will feature hilarious comedic styling of Jim Flannigan, Dan Carlson and Mike Preston. Now in its eighth season and selling out almost every event, Lucy's Comedy Café is one of Raue Center's longest running programs and the cornerstone of their comedy programming.

On September 16, Williams Street Repertory brings the wit of Steve Martin to the stage at Raue Center! The long-running off-Broadway absurdist comedy "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" places two 20-somethings named Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian café in 1904. "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" runs from September 16 - October 23.

Raue Center welcomes Richard Marx at 8 p.m. on February 17, 2017. As a songwriter, producer and performer, Marx has sold more than 30 million albums, scored 14 chart-topping singles and earned a Grammy Award for song of the year.

Raue Center keeps the laughs rolling at 8 p.m. on April 8 with a performance by the hilarious Jon Lovitz. Best known for his work as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live," Lovitz has made a name for himself as one of the best-known comedians of the last 20 years.
