Eclipse Theatre's 2018 William Inge Season Continues with BUS STOP

Eclipse Theatre Company, the only Midwest theatre company to feature one playwright in one season, will continue their 2018 William Inge Season with Bus Stop, directed by ensemble member Steve Scott.

In a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls into a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked so the weary travelers have to hole up until morning. Chanteuse Cherie has been pursued and finally kidnapped by a 21-year-old cowboy with a ranch of his own and the finesse of a headstrong bull. Meanwhile, the proprietor and bus driver develop a friendship, a middle-age scholar comes to terms with himself, and a young café worker gets her first taste of romance.

Bus Stopruns approximately two hours with one 10-minute intermission. Post-show discussions with the cast and crew will follow all Sunday matinees except opening and closing weekends (free with paid ticket).
