Musical Mondays at the Drury Lane Theater will continue through 2009.
The series is presented by the non-profit Chicago Cabaret Professionals. The music begins at 7:30 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut St.

The new season will begin with a celebration and a tribute to songwriter Johnny Mercer.
The announced lineup for the winter season so far consists of:
"Oscar Originals: Academy Award Winning Songs," Feb. 9. Suzanne Petri, Joan Curto, Greta Pope, Nan Mason, Anne Burnell, David Edelfelt and others take on tunes made famous on the big screen.
"Ac-cent-tchu-ate the Positive: The Music of Johnny Mercer," March 9. A poet on the order of Cole Porter, Mercer penned lyrics to such classics as "Come Rain or Come Shine" and "Moon River." Robert Whorton, Kat Taylor and Tracy Adams, among others, will explore Mercer's songbook.
"April Love: Romance in Song," April 20. Esther Hana, Claudia Hommel and others will celebrate spring with an evening of love songs.
