A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the beloved annual holiday tradition entertaining thousands of families each year, will be presented from November 21 through December 21 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. Recently enhanced with traditional carols, the timeless story is directed by Scott Calcagno (Legally Blonde at The Civic Theatre, Grease at The Long Lake Theatre as well as the annual production of A Christmas Carol at Drury Lane Theatre). The hour long Drury Lane production uses 14 of the most versatile actors in Chicago to bring over 30 of the colorful Dickensian characters to life. Drury Lane Theatre also offers families the special opportunity to have breakfast or dinner with Santa Claus on select performance dates in the dining room with a festive buffet-style menu complete with seasonal favorites.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man who receives a Christmas Eve visit from the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, warning him to mend his ways. During the night, three spirits appear before Scrooge showing him visions of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future to reveal the results of his selfish life. Scrooge promises to redeem himself and vows to honor the spirit of Christmas with all his heart, spreading good cheer, kindness and generosity to everyone he encounters.

Also featured are Nikki Hren as "Martha"/"Emily"/"Dance Captain," Frances Limoncelli as "Mrs. Fezziwig"/"Cleaning Lady," Megan Long as "Belle"/"Abby," Tina Maloney as "Charity Woman"/"Laundress," Liam Quealy as "Fred"/"Young Scrooge," Lee Slobotkin as "Dick"/"Peter"/"Turkey Boy"/"Ghost of Christmas Future," and Andrew Weir as "Bob Cratchit."
Breakfast with Santa is offered on Saturdays, including November 23, November 30, December 7, December 14, and December 21 at 11:30 a.m. with the performance at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. The Breakfast Buffet package price for adults is $30.00 and $25.00 for children 12 and under. A special Dinner Buffet with Santa is available on Wednesday, December 18 at 5:00 p.m. with the performance at 7:00 p.m. The Dinner Buffet package price for adults is $40.00 and $30.00 for children 12 and under.
Regular performances are at 10:00 a.m. Certain performances at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. are scheduled (call the box office for specific details). Performances will take place every Monday through Saturday except November 25 - 28 and December 2. Performance only tickets are available for $15 and a group rate of $12 per person is available for parties of 20 or more.
