Drag, Comedy & Musical Acts Announced For Random Acts' #SAFESPACE 5/31  Image

Random Acts has announced several additional artists joining comedian Scott Duff at #SafeSpace on Thursday, May 31st at 8pm. The fundraiser, which will be held at Mrs. Murphy and Son's Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln) is Pay-What-You-Can, with proceeds benefitting The Night Ministry.

The evening will feature drag performances by Pastry Kream and Allison von Durland, stand-up from Whitney Chitwood and Carly Ballerini, spoken word by Kenneth Coleman and Eileen Tull, vocals by Yasir Muhammad and a musical performance by Last Night on Earth. The event will also feature a pop-up art gallery by Maddie Snyder. Additional acts will be announced soon.

For each $5 donated, patrons will be entered into a raffle for a prize basket. Food and drinks can be purchased from Mrs. Murphy's throughout the event.

ABOUT Scott Duff
Scott Duff is a Chicago-based actor, comic, and radio host. A graduate of Northwestern University, he is an Artistic Associate of About Face Theatre, having appeared in over 15 AFT productions, and has performed all over Chicago including work with the Goodman, Steppenwolf, Theater Wit, Lookingglass, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, iO, and American Theatre Company. Mr. Duff is the host/producer of OUT CHICAGO, a live weekly talk show for the LGBT community airing Sundays on WCPT, Chicago's Progressive Talk AM & FM.
