As the kickoff event for its 2018 season, Dance for Life Chicago presents Dance Divas, a party and performance Sunday, June 24 at 6 p.m. and Monday, June 25 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the famed female impersonation nightclub the Baton Show Lounge, 436 N. Clark Street, Chicago. All proceeds benefit The Dancers' Fund.
Under the artistic direction of choreographers Jeremy Plummer and Harrison McEldowney, the glamorous night of "high heels and high camp" features Chicago's leading professional male dancers impersonating famous dancing women of stage, screen and pop music. During the evening, guests have the opportunity to bid on "Be a Diva" for an audience member to receive a complete "drag makeover" during the show. The winning and newly "glammed-up" Diva will be revealed on stage as a part of the show. Master of ceremonies is Tony Savino, with costumes by Jordan Ross, wigs by Maya Douglas and makeup supervision by Monica Munro.Tickets for Dance Divas, which takes place Sunday, June 24 at 6 p.m. and Monday, June 25 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at The Baton Show Lounge, 436 N.
