Concert Dates for the Smash Hit Cabaret Series

Showcasing the Best of Chicago Cabaret

Chicago Cabaret Professionals (CCP) and Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut Street, are announcing five new Musical Mondays concerts due to the smash hit success of the monthly cabaret concert series launched earlier this year. All shows in the Musical Mondays at Drury Lane series begin at 7:30 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place. Tickets are $25.00 and are on sale now by calling the Box Office at 312-642-2000 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Discounted parking is available from $10.00 in the Water Tower Place garage with validation. More information on CCP can be found at www.chicagocabaret.org.

August 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Get Happy! Women of the MGM Musicals
The ladies of Chicago cabaret salute the songbirds of the silver screen. The cast includes Gail Becker, Amy Cole, Hillary Ann Feldman, Laura Freeman, Pam Peterson, Keely Nicole Singer, Cheryl Szucsits, and Melissa Young. Musical direction is by Jeff Roscoe and Laura Freeman will direct.
 
September 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Some Enchanted Cabaret: Rodgers & Hart & Hammerstein
The richness of Richard Rodgers' timeless melodies promises an unforgettable evening of song. The cast includes Tracy Adams, David Edelfelt, Tommy Hensel, Marianne Murphy Orland, Jimmy Odom, Greta Pope, Jeanne Scherkenbach, and MaryMonica Thomas.  Bobby Schiff will serve as musical director and Tracy Adams will direct. Kevin Moore from WJJG Radio, 1530 AM will host.
 
October 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Curtain Up! Broadway Showstoppers
It's a high-energy night of "Cab-a-Broadway" when Chicago Cabaret Professionals present the beloved songs of the Great White Way. The cast will feature Charlene Brooks, Joan Curto, Margie Gibson, Rob Lindley, Kristopher McDowell, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michael, Heather Moran, and Daryl Nitz. Music and show direction is by Beckie Menzie. Chicago Shakespeare casting director, Bob Mason, hosts.

Cabaret Canteen: Music That Got us Through
In a special Veterans Day salute, enjoy the "greatest generation" of songs that got America through World War II with hope and laughter.

CCP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 1998 and dedicated with passion to the Art of Cabaret. The organization consists of performers, producers, writers, directors, venues, composers, lyricists and lovers of cabaret. Their mission is to help members learn and grow as artists and to promote the art of cabaret through the education of members, audiences and the community through meetings, performances, benefits, workshops and networking. CCP raises money through membership dues, donations and benefit performances in order to present showcases, classes and workshops, maintain their website, hotline and database, and produce throughout the year. CCP has provided outreach services to schools and local educational programs. Annually, they present a Gala Benefit and A Holiday Cabaret, benefiting Teen Living Programs (since 1999) and Save The Children, as well as several showcase series for members and audiences. The CCP also collaborates with theatres, producers, venues and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
