After years of entertaining audiences with their award-winning, all-silent, all-funny 60-minute show, the gateway to (the best) comedy in Chicago, Stage 773, is thrilled to present THE BEST OF BRI-KO, kicking off with a press opening on February 23 and running every Thursday at 8 p.m. through March 23 at 1225 W. Belmont.

Clowning-meets-sketch as audiences lose themselves in Bri-Ko's joyous, upbeat world, which fuses comedy, clowning and an incredible array of props into a hilariously complicated production. Stage 773 Creative Director Brian Posen joins forces with Chicago comedy veterans Tim Soszko and Brian Peterlin to turn even the simplest tasks - like changing a lightbulb - into an interactive, non-verbal experience, taking audiences on an extraordinary ride.

"With so much buzz today about what's appropriate in comedy, Bri-Ko is a breath of fresh air," says Stage 773 Creative Director Brian Posen. "This is a hilariously entertaining show without the politics or controversies you typically see with this genre."

Winner of the Second City Best of the Fest Award at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Bri-Ko's playful, physical comedy is a hit with speakers of any language and a favorite for private events. THE BEST OF BRI-KO is filled with audience participation, eccentric costumes and mind-blowing visuals, making the action-packed show truly universally appealing.

THE BEST OF BRI-KO will take place in the Box Theater every Thursday at 8 p.m., beginning February 23 through March 23. Tickets are $17.50 and may be purchased at www.Stage773.com or by calling 773.327.5252.

Stage 773 is a vibrant anchor of the Belmont Theatre District and home to Chicago's finest off-Loop talent. As a performance and tenant venue, our four stages provide entertainment for everyone: comedy, theatre, dance, musicals and more. We are a not-for- profit, connecting and catalyzing the theater community, while showcasing established artists and incubating up-and- coming talent.
