1930. Berlin. A city on the edge. An American writer. An English singer. A pragmatic landlady. A German businessman. A Jewish shopkeeper. A world-weary fille de joie. A master of ceremonies. Welcome to Cabaret.

Beginning April 25, the legendary Tony Award-winning musical by Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb comes vividly to life on Citadel's intimate stage. Directed by Robert D. Estrin (Other People's Money, Lend Me a Tenor), with music direction by Randy Casey and choreography by Rita Simon, Citadel's production of the critically-acclaimed 1998 version, soon to be revived on Broadway, will offer audiences a combination of familiar songs, great storytelling and even a little danger.

Opening night will be on Friday, April 25th. Performances will continue through May 25th with shows at 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and at 3pm on Sundays. Special 11am matinees are scheduled for Wednesdays May 7th and 21st and 1pm Saturday matinees are scheduled for May 3rd and 17th.

Tickets are $37.50 Fridays and Saturdays, $35.00 for Thursdays, Sundays, and all matinees. Senior and student discounts are available, as well as group rates. Performance not recommended to audiences age 13 and younger (contains adult themes). Call 847.735.8554 for tickets or visit Citadel online atwww.citadeltheatre.org.

Not just another Cabaret. You won't want to miss this dynamic production!
