Circle Theatre presents Marvin's Room, directed by Mary Redmon. Marvin's Room, the touching drama of family and faith by Scott McPherson, will be presented in Circle's intimate studio space, August 22 through September 30, 2012.

Marvin's Room explores the challenges and transformations inherent in child-rearing and aging-parent obligations. Two sisters are forced after years of estrangement to deal with leukemia, care of their bed-ridden father, and the dichotomy of a family coming back together.

Mary Redmon's directorial debut with Circle was last season's Jeff-nominated The Man Who Came To Dinner. Her directing credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Into The Woods, Noises Off, A Moon For the Misbegotten, You Can't Take It With You, Dancing at Lughnasa, Working, Lovers and Translations with companies such as Daley College, Oak Lawn Park District, Orland Park Village Players, St. Xavier University's Theatre II and the Oak Park Village Players.
