Chicago-based pH Productions is currently hosting a run of the classic film, The Breakfast Club, in musical form. Founding member Jason Geis co-wrote and is directing the production that will run through April 26th.

In a recent interview with the Chicago Sun Times, Geis spoke about his reasons for turning the classic film to a stage show. "I wanted it to be a respectful homage to the movie. I'm 32, and The Breakfast Club really resonates with me. My high school [in Dayton, Ohio] was like that, segregated into cliques. I think it is a really well-done movie, a good teen movie."
