Glee Live! In Concert! with "Glee" stars Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam), Darren Criss (Blaine), Ashley Fink (Lauren) and members of "The Warblers" perform in an all-new singing and dancing celebration of the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning show.
Tickets have been selling out, with fans clamoring for the live show's encore by the end of the night. One person who didn't stay for the encore, though, is paying for it.
Chicago Sun-Times critic Paige Wiser, the television critic who wrote the paper's review for GLEE LIVE!, has been ousted from the Sun-Times. Wiser's review - which included information one song that wasn't performed and another that she didn't see, according to the Chicago Tribune - was so inaccurate that it drew notice almost immediately and was removed from the paper's website altogether.
"I do understand what a big deal this was," Wiser said. "I am ashamed, and it's just a matter of making bad decisions when you're exhausted."
Tead the Chicago Tribune article here. "Glee Live! In Concert!," is billed as a unique experience once again conceived by Ryan Murphy that includes live performances of some of the show's most memorable musical numbers from Seasons One and Two, including "Empire State of Mind," "Toxic," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "It's My Life," and of course, the show's anthem, "Don't Stop Believin'." Described previously by the Los Angeles Times as "triumphant," USA Today called last year's concerts "equal parts musical theater, giddy pop culture phenomenon and Journey-loving rock show."
