Chicago Chief of Police Francis O'Neill to Return For MUSIC MAD, 9/1-10/27

Following the 2012 successful run of Music Mad, the critically-acclaimed drama which recounts the musical exploits of Chicago's revered Chief of Police Francis O'Neill returns this fall for a run at Chief O'Neill's Pub & Restaurant.

"We've got new tunes, new scenes and some great new actors," says writer/producer, Adam Whiteman, "I really think people will enjoy the updated version of the show".

Based on the true life story of Chicago's venerate Chief of Police, Francis O'Neill, Music Mad is a lively and entertaining celebration of traditional Irish music, dance and storytelling. Chicago fiddle sensation, Sean Cleland, leads the musical ensemble this year, and is accompanied by Chicago guitar favorite, Jim DeWan.

Brendan McKinney, owner of Chief O'Neill's brings his mastery of the Irish flute and whistle into the mix as does the talented vocalist, Kathy Cowan. Irish actor and singer, Tim O'Sullivan continues on in his role as the cherished parish piper and Tom Cassidy newly joins the cast as Chief O'Neill himself.
