CCP Announces 4/20 Musical Monday Show "April Love: Romance in Song"

Chicago Cabaret Professionals (CCP) and Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut Street, announce the third of the three new Musical Mondays performances due to the out success of the monthly cabaret concert series launched in 2008. All shows in the Musical Mondays at Drury Lane series begin at 7:30 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place. Tickets are $25.00 and are on sale now by calling the Box Office at 312-642-2000 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Musical Mondays at Drury Lane received rave reviews in the greater Chicago press. "Capacity audiences have become the norm for the 'Musical Mondays' cabaret series at Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place... in what is rapidly becoming a mainstay of downtown entertainment," said Howard Reich of the Chicago Tribune.

The April show is as follows:

April 20 - "April Love: Romance in Song"
John Eskola, Hilary Feldman, Carla Gordon, Ester Hana, Claudia Hommel, Carol Moss, Bradford Newquist, and Allen Nichols explore everyone's favorite subject from both the sentimental side and the funny side.

Songs include: You Must Believe in Spring, April in Paris, Makin' Whoopee, My Funny Valentine, The Man I Love, It Might as Well Be Spring and more!

About Chicago Cabaret Professionals
CCP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 1998 and dedicated with passion to the Art of Cabaret. The organization consists of performers, producers, writers, directors, venues, composers, lyricists and lovers of cabaret. Their mission is to help members learn and grow as artists and to promote the art of cabaret through the education of members, audiences and the community through meetings, performances, benefits, workshops and networking. CCP raises money through membership dues, donations and benefit performances in order to present showcases, classes and workshops, maintain their website, hotline and database, and produce throughout the year. CCP has provided outreach services to schools and local educational programs. Annually, they present a Gala Benefit and A Holiday Cabaret, benefiting Teen Living Programs (since 1999) and Save The Children, as well as several showcase series for members and audiences. The CCP also collaborates with theatres, producers, venues and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
