Broadway In Chicago unveiled its newest ticketing innovation today at Water Tower Place (a General Growth property) - a self-service ticket kiosk, the first of its kind to be located in a public place in the country. The ticket kiosk is located in the front lobby of Water Tower Place (845 N Michigan Avenue) and users may purchase tickets to any of Broadway In Chicago's performances. Cast members from Billy Elliot THE MUSICAL and ROCK OF AGES were in attendance to unveil the ticket kiosk.

The ticket kiosk is powered by Ticketmaster. Working much like an ATM or an airline boarding pass kiosk, the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Kiosk allows patrons to purchase and print their tickets, by credit card, to any Broadway In Chicago show.

Tickets to Billy Elliot THE MUSICAL, ROCK OF AGES, AN EVENING WITH Sutton Foster, DISNEY'S THE LION KING, PANDEMONIUM, TRACES and WICKED are on sale and available now through the new ticket kiosk.

"We are thrilled to offer patrons and visitors to Chicago a convenient way to purchase their tickets to any Broadway In Chicago venue while at Chicago's premier shopping destination, said Lou Raizin, President of Broadway In Chicago. "The ticket kiosk is just one of the exciting new developments Broadway In Chicago has in store as it strives to best serve theatre-goers in Chicago."

Broadway In Chicago was created in July, 2000 as a joint venture between The Nederlander Organization and Live Nation, the two largest commercial theatre producers and owners/operators in the United States. The creation of Broadway In Chicago allowed the two theatre industry leaders to present a full range of entertainment, including musicals and plays, on the stages of three of the finest theatres in Chicago's Loop -- Bank of America Theatre, the Ford Center for the Performing Arts/Oriental Theatre and the Cadillac Palace Theatre. In 2007, Nederlander acquired Live Nation Theatrical's interests in Chicago changing Broadway In Chicago from a joint venture to a Nederlander Company. Broadway In Chicago continues to bring the best new, classic and completely spectacular entertainment that Broadway has to offer to the stages of the Bank Of America Theatre, the Ford Center for the Performing Arts/Oriental Theatre, the Cadillac Palace Theatre, theatrical productions at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University and now the Broadway Playhouse.

Water Tower Place is owned and managed by General Growth Properties, Inc. GGP currently has ownership interest in, or management responsibility for, over 200 regional shopping malls in 43 states, as well as ownership in planned community developments and commercial office buildings. The Company's portfolio totals approximately 200 million square feet of retail space and includes over 24,000 retail stores nationwide. The Company's common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GGP.
