Blank Theatre Company Announces BLANK'S SONDHEIM BIRTHDAY PARTY and New Artistic Staff Members

Blank Theatre Company, Chicago's newest non-equity storefront theatre company, continues their fundraising efforts towards their first season with "Blank's Sondheim Birthday Party". The evening will feature a silent auction and performances honoring the music of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim the week of his 88th birthday.
The cabaret is conceived by Dustin Rothbart and will have music direction by Danny Kapinos. Performers to be announced later. The cabaret will be presented at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St, Chicago IL 60640 in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Additional information is available at blanktheatrecompany.com.
Additionally, Blank welcomes two new members to their artistic staff. Jackie McCollough will serve as the Director of Development and Nick McKenzie as Marketing Director respectively.

About the Staff
Jackie McCollough (Director of Development) is a current student at Columbia College Chicago majoring in Arts Management. She primarily works in theatre administration and development and is incredibly excited to join the Blank team as Director of Development. Previous employment includes Cuckoo's Theatre Project (Chicago, IL), Great River Shakespeare Festival (Winona, MN), Collaboraction Theatre Company (Chicago, IL), and Glimmerglass Opera (Cooperstown, NY).
Nick McKenzie (Marketing Director) is a native Chicagoan who studied Business & Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He spends his days crafting websites, analyzing data, and creating digital content to help build organic relationships between organizations and individuals. Additionally, he has managed promotion distribution for Steppenwolf, Broadway in Chicago, Looking Glass, and many more theatres in the Chicago-area. He's excited to be a part of Blank Theatre Company and is looking forward to adding his vision to the mix.
