Babes With Blades Theatre to Stage BO THOMAS AND THE CASE OF THE SKY PIRATES World Premiere, 8/10-9/21

Babes With Blades Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Bo Thomas and the Case of the Sky Pirates, by Eric Simon, directed by BWBTC Artistic Director Leigh Barrett. Previews begin August 10, the show opens on August 17 and runs through Saturday, September 21 at Raven Theater West Stage, 6157 N. Clark. Performances will be Thursdays-Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3:30PM. Tickets are available at babeswithblades.org.

In an arrangement reminiscent of Remington Steele, Girl Friday Bo Thomas is the real brains behind the operation at Sam Lowell Detective Agency. But even whipsmart Bo can't see where her latest case - an arson investigation at a local orphanage - might be heading (hint: Up).

Directed by Leigh Barrett* with violence design by JKChoreography, the show's cast features: Mark Lancaster (Sam Lowell), Jennifer L. Mickelson* (Lydia Day), Megan Schemmel* (Bo Thomas), Kelly Yacono* (Sally), and Maureen Yasko* (Minerva Myklos).
