Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board Hosts The Devil's Ball on June 23

The Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board, a diverse group of individuals committed to furthering the mission of the Auditorium, hosts The Devil's Ball: The Stage Is Yours on Saturday, June 23. This special event is held right on the theatre's iconic stage where lauded performers like Prince, Chance the Rapper, and Bruce Springsteen have all stood, giving party-goers the chance to experience the legendary theatre as they've never seen it before.
"We are excited to commemorate the end of our 2017-18 Season with the Devil's Ball," says Auditorium Theatre CEO Tania Castroverde Moskalenko. "If you have never taken in the glory of the Auditorium Theatre from our magnificent stage, this is your chance! I invite you to celebrate with us and help support the Auditorium Theatre and our Auxiliary Board."
At the Devil's Ball, guests enjoy food provided by Food For Thought and Russian Tea Time; an open bar featuring beer, wine, and spirits from CH Distillery; and dancing, with music provided by the DJs at Mode Events - all under the dazzling golden glow of the Auditorium's signature arches. Proceeds from the event support the Auditorium Theatre's educational outreach efforts, world-renowned programming, and restoration and preservation of the National Historical Landmark.
"We're thrilled to bring back the Auxiliary Board's most popular event, The Devil's Ball," says Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board Chair Dillon Goodson. "There's really no better way to experience the Auditorium Theatre - this unique celebration gives you the chance to dance, drink, and mingle under one of the most stunning backdrops Chicago has to offer."
The evening also features special late-night historic theatre tours, a wine raffle, and a silent auction for items including a South African safari, a stay at the historic Palmer House Hilton, and a tour of Milwaukee's Lakefront Brewery. A surprise guest will provide pop-up live entertainment - marching band Environmental Encroachment, performers from Aloft Circus Arts, and burlesque dancers have performed at the Devil's Ball in the past.
