Artists Giving Back Welcomes New Leadership Team Members

Artists Giving Back welcomes two new team members to the Leadership Team, Gabrielle Gulledge and Cody Von Ruden.

Born and raised in Chicago, Gabrielle is happy to join Artists Giving Back after a short career in the professional services world. While her degrees are in accounting, Gabrielle's true passion is in story-telling as an actress and writer, and this passion is what led her back home to Chicago and, ultimately, to AGB. She joins the team as Finance Support, assisting in the monitoring and reporting of AGB's financial progress towards meeting its goals.

Cody Von Ruden is thrilled to be joining the AGB team as the Marketing Director. After completing an apprenticeship with Steppenwolf Theatre he has found himself exploring the store front and small scale theatre community. Reaching audiences and getting people excited to see shows is one of the many skills Cody will be bringing to the team. He is very excited to grow in this role and in this company.

AGB has a belief in philanthropy through self-expression and creativity. Through the production of art in all its forms-music, dance, drama, visual-we aim to support artists and our community. Artists Giving Back is an opportunity to interact with our community through the healing power of art.

One of the many ways we give back to the community through performance is by teaming up with local charities for our AGB Sings! and AGB Laughs! Series. These series are cabaret and stand up comedy events open to all that raise donations for the many different charities we partner with.

Our next AGB Laughs event will be August 13, 8:00 pm, at Mary's Attic, Andersonville.
