Called the "the greatest cabaret star of her generation" by the International Herald Tribune, star of screen, stage, concert and recording star Andrea Marcovicci will be making a special concert appearance at Chicago's premier venue for music, Davenport's, 1383 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago.
The six special performances will take place Wednesday July 16, Thursday July 17, Friday July 18 at 8pm two shows on Saturday, July 19 at 7pm and 9:30pm and Sunday at 7pm.. Andrea takes the audience on a wonderful journey about life on the road - a warm, funny, heartfelt, and candid tale of Andrea's time spent traveling from city to city and what that bittersweet time has meant to her as a singer, an actress, a wife and mother. Highlights include: "Sunday in New York," "Two For the Road," "How are Things in Glocca Morra?," "Under Paris Skies," and "A Foggy Day." In addition, Andrea will recreate her celebrated rendition of "These Foolish Things. The show has already been performed to critical and audience acclaim on the west coast's top venues in Hollywood and San Francisco and in New York City.
Enjoying the intimate art of cabaret performance, Andrea has appeared at numerous prestigious nightclubs throughout the country including the famed Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel in New York City, The Rrazz Room in San Francisco, Le Chat Noir of New Orleans, The Gardenia in Hollywood, and many others. Her London cabaret debut in 1994 sold out a one-month engagement at the Music Room at Pizza on the Park.
