Artistic Director Bonnie Metzgar today announced About Face Theatre's upcoming holiday cabaret, featuring a performance of "Oklahomo For The Holidays", running December 11th through 14th at the Hoover-Leppen Theatre at the Center on Halsted (3656 N. Halsted). About Face presents this rootin' tootin' retelling of that old favorite western musical against the backdrop of a holiday party. "Oklahomo For The Holidays" is directed by Dan Stermer. Andrew Edwards provides musical direction. The all-star cast features Molly Brennan ("Animal Crackers", 500 Clown), Scott Bradley ("Carpenters Halloween", Scooty & Jojo), Drew Anderson, Carla Kessler, Jonathan Verge, Ryan Lanning Waite and Jenny Weiner.

"In celebration of the holidays, About Face is offering audiences a rough-and-tumble romp back in time - an evening filled with song, dance and good will toward all," says Metzgar. "With Dan Stermer's talent for outrageous laughs, audiences simply cain't say no to 'Oklahomo For The Holidays'."

People will say they're in love with this tale of gay love triangles in the pioneer days, hosted by Lady Aunt Eller (Scott Bradley). Dan Stermer and Andrew Edwards have reworked the old favorites to create a holiday cabaret with a twist.

"Oklahomo For The Holidays" will hitch up at the Center on Halsted (3565 N. Halsted). Doors are at 7pm on December 11, 12 and 14 and at 3pm on December 13.
