Abbey Pub Announces Summer Line-Up

Abbey Pub (3420 W. Grace St. at Elston) announces its line-up for the rest of June, July, August, and September. Every week there will be an open mic night on Tuesdays and a traditional Irish session on Sundays. Preferred seating available at all music events when a dinner reservation is made. On Wednesday, June 9th, Flabby Hoffman presents J. Beck, Daysleeper, Rebel Rousers, and The 4orty 5ives. Doors at 8pm and show at 8:30pm. Tickets $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Abbey Pub is raising Mondy for Relay for Life on Sunday, June 13th with an all day non-stop musical marathon. Performers include Julian Bane, Money Up Front, Mary McIntire, Amy Dixon-Kolar, The Candy Duo, and many more. The marathon is from 12:00p.m. to 1:00a.m. There is a $20 cover with children under 12 free. All of the cover goes to the Relay For Life. A free drink ticket with each entry fee. A stamp will be given for patrons to come and go all day.

"The Queen Is Dead" Monthly Residency is on June 24th with Handsome Devilz (Smith's and Morrissey Tribute), Saber (Depeche Mode Tribute), and Who's This Mary (Cure Tribute). Resident DJ Mike Mischen  and Guest DJ Eddie Riot will also be around. Doors at 8pm and show at 9pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Residency is scheduled the last Thursday of every month.

The "Paul Is Undead" book release will be on June 28th with a special concert by The Zombeatles. Doors are at 7pm and show at 7:30pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and at the door. On Saturday, June 12th, tickets will be sale for the June 29th for Honest Engines, Eytan & The Embassy, You & Yourn, and Brice Woodall. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts 8:30pm. Tickets $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, June 12th for the July 15th performances of Textbook Committee (Guided By Voices Tribute) and B1g T1me (Tom Waits Tribute). Show is at 9pm with the doors opening an hour beforehad. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

On Thursday, August 19th, The Canoes, Go Long Mule, Model N, and The Van Goghs perform. Doors open at 8pm and show is at 8:30pm. Tickets is $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Metal Blade Records and Last Rites present a 35th Anniversary concert on Saturday, September 18th. Performers include Raven, Earthen Grave (Feat. Rachel Barton), Bible Of The Devil, Chicago Thrash Ensemble, and Diamond Plate. Doors open at 8pm and show at 9pm. Tickets $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
