The third installment of Refuge Theatre Project's Audition Diaries cabaret series is called "Shit You've Never Heard," and will feature new musical theatre material from both Chicago and New York writers.

Ryan Cunningham, bookwriter/lyricist of the off-Broadway musicals Next Thing You Know and I Love You Because, will share selections from his new unpublished work. The evening will also feature selections from Heart Strings and Broken Records, the new song cycle by Chicago composer Jordan Scott Taylor that was recently selected for performance at the New York club 54 Below.

As in the previous versions of Audition Diaries ("Shit I Didn't Get Cast In" and "Shit I Did First"), the evening will include the performers sharing stories and songs from the all too common and often hilarious experience of auditioning for musical theatre.

Performers for the July 23rd "Shit You've Never Heard" will be Aimee Erickson, Morgan Glynn Briggs, Jordan Scott Taylor, Ross Egan, Jameson Wentworth and Ryan Cunningham. There will be a full band, drink specials, and live music to follow.
