Rita, a former roller derby queen and ex-leader of an all-female Thin Lizzy tribute band, tries to save the last chance Irish pub she owns from going under. When her niece Molly returns from serving in Iraq, Rita hatches a quixotic plan to turn Rita's Pub into the "entertainment capital of Central Florida." A TRIBUTE TO THICK LEONARD is a hilarious rock-and-roller derby dark comedy-a southern gothic THREE SISTERS about crazy American dreams.

The cast features Jack Ball (Jeffery), Lauren Blakeman (Bridget), Lauren Gugleilmello (Molly), Daniel J. Lewis (Dave, and other characters), Grace Palmer (Rita), Sophia Reppert (Cathleen), and Alissa Walker (Victoria). The production staff includes Shade Murray (Director), Gilbert Tanner (Playwright), Kirk V. Hughes (Scenic Designer), Sarah Jo White (Costume Designer), Andrew Meyer (Lighting Designer), Moran Lake (Sound Designer), Matthew Messina (Dramaturg), and Meredith Matthews (Stage Manager).

An Opening Night Party will be held tonight, May 10, 2013, following the performance. A post-show discussion will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 (2:00 PM) and Thursday, May 16, 2013 (7:30 PM). Contact the Box Office for more information at (312) 922-1999 or theatreboxoffice@depaul.edu. Further information available at http://theatreschool.depaul.edu.
