The Wilmette Theatre's "Live at the 'Mette" series presents "A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...and Everyone in Between" featuring John Michael Coppola from Chicago's long running, smash hit, JERSEY BOYS. The event will take place on Thursday, May 8th at The Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Avenue, Wilmette, IL.

"I'm thrilled to be playing in such a wonderfully intimate space with such a rich history in the community. The opportunity to continue to bring these great songs that are, basically a soundtrack to people's lives, is always a treat. Also, with the movie of JERSEY BOYS being released nationwide this summer, it exposes this music to a whole new generation of fans. With the movie's release happening only a few weeks after this event at "the 'Mette', this concert date holds a special meaning to me as I reminisce about my life and career before, during and after my time with the show, and how it has changed my focus as a performer," said Coppola.

"A JERSEY VOICE" features a hot seven-piece band and a few stories of Coppola's life and career before, during and after his time with JERSEY BOYS. The set list covers hits from artists including Mr. Sinatra and Mr. Springsteen as well as Dean Martin, Billy Joel, Neil Sedaka and of course, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

In addition, members of Mr. Coppola's newest vocal group, The Four C Notes, who are the Mid-West's only artists recreating the music of Frankie Valli and Fours Seasons, will be on hand for a special tribute celebrating the Hollywood film release of JERSEY BOYS, slated to open nation-wide this summer.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by visiting, www.wilmettetheatre.com or by calling, (847) 251-7424.
