A second performance at 4 pm has been added to accommodate demand for this lively show.
AN IRISH HOOLEY! Featuring the band Slugger O'Toole and the Kerry Dancers will perform at Three Stages on Friday, March 8 at 4 and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $19-$29; Premium $39; Students with ID $12. They may be purchased online at www.threestages.net or from Three Stages Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Three Stages is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.
The band Slugger O'Toole is comprised of Matt Foyer (mandolin, pennywhistle, flute), Dan Harper (guitar), Zac Leger (bodhran), Johnny "The Box" McKenna (button accordion, bodhran), Tim "Clough" McNamara (bass), John Sommers (fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar) and special guest, Peter Romano (guitar).
The Kerry Dance Troupe, including special guests Kevin Horton, Kimberly Gerard and Keara Osborne is comprised of dancers from Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, Magic of the Dance and local champion dancers. These 'ambassadors' of Irish dance work with Kerry Records on various aspects of Irish folk-dance traditions, incorporating old Irish dance styles into modern Irish dance styles. Through this process, the best of ethnic and modern Ireland is represented, exposing audiences to the beauty, value, passion, and uniqueness of the traditional Irish dance.
