Central Piedmont Community College Theatre announces individual tickets will go on sale for its upcoming season on Sept. 1. The troupe is bringing an incredible lineup of quality shows at prices the entire family can enjoy. Tickets are available for $19 and $21, with tickets for children under the age of 15 available for $10. In addition, parking is free for all shows.

Join us during this extraordinary season by attending one - or more - of the following upcoming performances:

"Becket," September 28 - October 7, Dale F. Halton Theater
Jean Anouih's Tony Award winning play "Becket" tells the troubled story of the relationship between Thomas à Becket and King Henry II of England. Set in England during the 12th century, a time of political and religious upheaval, "Becket" addresses multiple themes and ideas that remain relevant today - specifically love and hatred, resistance and collaboration, and church and state. Although Becket begins the play as a man without honor, he closes the play as a man who dies to defend God's honor. It is as a martyr that Becket finds his place in history and the man behind the legend comes to life.

"Music of the Night: An Andrew Lloyd Webber Revue," October 26 - November 4, Pease Auditorium
Fans of musical composer Andrew Lloyd Webber will delight in attending this revue featuring several of the writer's most beloved songs. Audiences will enjoy performances of "Memory" from "Cats," "Music of the Night" from "The Phantom of the Opera," "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" from "Evita," "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from "Jesus Christ Superstar" and many others. Join CPCC Theatre for this unforgettable musical performance, as the troupe honors one of Broadway's most prolific composers.

"Gypsy," February 15 - 24, Dale F. Halton Theater
Speculated by many to be the greatest of all American musicals, "Gypsy" tells the story of the dreams and efforts of Mama Rose, a hungry, powerhouse of a woman, to get her two daughters into show business. Loosely based on the 1957 memoir of famous striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, "Gypsy" focuses on the story of Mama Rose, who, after seeing her youngest daughter (June) have a successful career in vaudeville, turns her attention to her oldest daughter (Louise) who, to her chagrin, winds up becoming the renowned burlesque stripper Gypsy Rose Lee.

"Our Town" April 5 - 14, Dale F. Halton Theater
"Our Town," a Pulitzer Prize winning play about life in the small village of Grover's Corners, has become an American classic and is Thornton Wilder's most renowned work of art. Audiences will follow the Gibbs and Webb families through 12 years of life changes - daily life, love and marriage, and death and eternity. Through the lives of "Our Town's" many characters, Wilder delivers universal truths about what it means to be human. "Oh earth," Emily Webb exclaims toward the play's end, "you're too wonderful for anyone to realize you." With humor, wit and exceptionally powerful storytelling, "Our Town" offers a unique opportunity for audience members to make precisely that realization.

Season tickets are also on sale to all performances. For more information, ticket prices or to reserve your seat(s), please call Central Piedmont's SunTrust Box Office at 704.330.6534 or visit tix.cpcc.edu. There is 7.25% sales tax. This will be collected on top of the ticket price.
