The Aluminum Show, has proved to be a hit with children in the Charlotte area. In response to this, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is extending its popular Kids' Night at the Knight free child's ticket offer to allow more children to experience this child-friendly show. The free child's ticket(with paying adult) is available so long as tickets are available for the performance.  The offer is now valid until the end of the show's run which is January 31st.

The Kids' Night offers are valid for children 14 and younger. For complete details call 704.372.1000, visit www.BlumenthalCenter.org/Aluminum or come by the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center Box Office located in the Tryon Street lobby of the Belk Theater.

The show, which brings warmth and animation to cold, industrial materials, has also been compared to  productions like The Blue Man Group and Stomp. The Aluminum Show is the brainchild of Israeli dancer, Ilan Azriel, who has blended visual theater, dance, puppetry, illusion and special effects to create an evening of theatrical enjoyment. The Aluminum Show features an accomplished cast of athletic dancers and performance artists fusing industrial materials and movement to make a luminous and reflective production. Since it was first performed at the Isreal Festival at Jerusalum in 2003, The Aluminum Show has toured Argentina, Russia, and mianland Europe, as well as opening at the 19th Macau Dance Festival this year and the Ankara Music Festival in Turkey.

THE ALUMINUM SHOW makes its Charlotte debut as part of the Duke Energy Broadway Lights series. This engagement is sponsored by WSOC-TV.
