Boxed Lunch Option
PPT has partnered once again with everyone's favorite Salisbury lunch spot- Sidewalk Deli. Pre -ordered box lunches will be available this summer for campers who want them. Cost is $5 a day. Boxed lunch will include a fresh made sandwich, side, dessert, and drink and will be delivered to the theater. Menus will be sent with registration forms. Campers do not have to purchase lunch for every day, they can pick and choose daily if they like. Lunch orders must be received before the first day of class to be guaranteed. Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch if they do not want the boxed lunch option.

Acting Up 1 (K-2 Camp)

Back by popular demand! Little ones want to have fun and do theatre too! Theatre is a great way for young students to learn and express themselves. Campers will play games, do puzzles, and learn basic acting and design skills. This camp will not have an end of the week program since the focus is not performance but fun and process.
MATILDA (Elementary Musical)

Instructor: Gwen Matthews
This summer Gwen has decided to take on one of the most popular shows on Broadway! Come this summer and learn the songs from the Broadway Smash Hit Musical- MATILDA! Try on some new steps, and be charmed by the music of the amazing show. It will be great fun and we hope you will join Gwen for a week you won't soon forget.
THOMAS & FRIENDS TAKE THE STAGE (Ages 4-6)
1pm-4pm

In this camp for young actors, we'll use songs and stories about Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends to journey to the Isle of Sodor and create a mini-performance. We'll also enjoy making a daily Thomas themed art project to take home.

BROADWAY BOOT CAMP (Middle & High School Musical)

A creative camp using songs, dances, and scenes from favorite Oz inspired musicals and movies: The Wiz, Wicked, The Wizard of Oz. Week will include daily Oz themed art projects and activities. Will conclude with a mini-performance.

Using favorite songs from hit Broadway musicals like Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, All Shook Up, and more, campers will create a mini-musical revue complete with songs, dances, and scenes.
July 11-15
DIRECTING FOR TEENS (Ages 14-18)

Each student will cast and direct a scene from a play, chosen in advance by the instructor. Actors will be students in the "It's Dramatic" camp. Throughout the week, students will work with the instructor on techniques for successful rehearsals and directing. They'll be given guidance from the instructor, but will have freedom to make the scenes their own. A great introduction to directing. Recommended for students with some theatre experience. All scenes will be performed on the last day of camp for family and friends.
IT'S DRAMATIC (6th-9th grade)
9am-2pm
Instructor: Caroline Stephenson
Students in this camp will study acting fundamentals and audition and rehearsal techniques as they work with student directors (see "Directing for Teens") under the guidance of the camp instructor. Every camper will have a speaking role in a scene from a play, chosen in advance by the instructor. We'll also explore the craft of acting through improvisation games and other activities. All scenes will be performed on the last day of camp for family and friends.

Many of Roald Dahl's whimsical books have been made into successful movie and stage musicals. In this week, we'll learn songs, dances, and act out scenes from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and James and the Giant Peach.

If you've ever wanted to learn more about how to put together a polished and professional looking video, then this is the camp for you. Students will learn how to shoot video, import the file to the computer and edit it into a finished product.

With inspiration from the Curious George stories by Margaret and H.A. Rey, young campers will have a new "problem" to solve every day. They'll use creative drama, art projects, songs, and, of course, their curiosity, to save the day. Campers will share with parents and friends what they've learned and created on the last day of camp.
August 1-5 & 8-12
ALADDIN Performer Camp (2 WEEK Middle & High Musical)

The most popular camp every summer! Spend ten rehearsal-filled days learning the wonderful musical script of ALADDIN! Plenty of singing, dancing, and exciting characters! Join us for a summer production! This is a two-week intensive camp that will put together the production of Aladdin complete with costumes, props and a set. Campers will learn choreography, music, and scripts to the entire show. *Campers must attend both weeks.
Costume & Tech Design- ALADDIN (Middle & High School)

Instructor: Brian Holloway
Learn the basics of costume and makeup design; from concepts and sketching to sewing and fitting. Students will learn the importance of teamwork while meeting with the director and other designers to create a cohesive whole production. They will learn the basics of how clothes are made and altered, following patterns to create pieces and occasionally making simple patterns from scratch. At the end of the 2 weeks you will have the chance to see your creation on stage.
(If you have a sewing machine, feel free to bring it along) *Campers must attend both weeks.
August 8-12
