Tribe is a play about family, religion, food and money. Patrice became a single mother at a very young age. She is overly dependent on her son, Soleil. Patrice tried to raise Soleil to be a God fearing man, but after years of getting into trouble he has found his own spiritual path with the Tribe. Now that Patrice has a little extra money, everyone in the family has a suggestion for its usage. Soleil decides to decieve his mother to get the money and he also gets charged with a hate crime. What happens when your son isn't the man you hoped that he would be?
