Linda Ann Watt Hosts Acting & Scene Study Youth Camp, 8/13-17

Spirit Square has just announced an acting camp for Charlotte youth at Spirit Square. It's a great opportunity for youth ages 10 – 17 to explore acting. The "Acting & Scene Study Camp" is taught by Linda Ann Watt and is offered on August 13-17, 10:00 a.m. -1:00 pm. at Spirit Square, 345 North College Street, 3rd Floor, Studio A.

Campers will learn relaxation and sense memory exercises, voice, improvisation, in-depth scene study, "on camera" cold reading, the audition process and how to locate the best talent agents in the Carolinas. There is a final showcase for parents.

Watt is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, owner of Corlin Productions, a union signatory Production Company for film, television and commercials. Through Corlin Productions, she produced the educational video, The Method based on Stanislavski and Strasberg with Martin Landau, Cloris Leachman and Shelley Winters, written by Lorrie Hull, Ph.D. Watt teaches Acting & Scene Study and Advanced classes for adults and an Enrichment Arts Program though the UCPS for youth. Watt is also a contributing editor for Broadwayworld.com.
