KidShine, an organization which directs performing arts day camps at churches throughout the United States is recruiting 10 people to join the Charlotte-based day camp teams.

KIDSHINE OVERVIEW

KidShine is a Christian organization which is contracted by churches throughout the United States to direct week-long Performing Arts Day Camps for children. We work in many denominations and in churches of all sizes. 3-4 day camps are scheduled per week, June through August, and each is directed by a team of three KidShine staff members. We strive for excellence in all that we do, including hiring only the most qualified and committed individuals. Our standards are high, and the rewards are great.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking mature, spiritually-grounded Christians who love children and have a sincere desire to be in ministry. Flexibility, a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential. Proven ministry leadership and work experience are also very important. All employees must be at least age 21, available and willing to travel weekly during the summer.

PAY AND TRAVEL
Weekly pay is $300 for each day camp worked. Summer positions do not include benefits. Day camp related travel expenses (airline tickets, rental vehicles and/or gas expense, housing in host cities) are paid. Employees must provide their own housing and transportation on weekends between camps; housing must be in Charlotte, NC, where all travel originates. Depending on the day camp location, teams usually travel to the host church on Sunday, returning to Charlotte on Friday evening or Saturday morning - then leave again on Sunday. We try to schedule team
assignments to allow reasonable time off between camps, but all weekends will require some travel. During the day camp week, team members are usually housed together in accommodations arranged by the host church - so it's important to understand that even "time off" during the day camp week will usually be spent with the KidShine team. For the right individuals, traveling and spending time with the team is one of the
best parts of the job.
