Common Ground Theatre is a performance and teaching space located in west Durham, offering performing arts and educational groups a flexible, well-equipped alternative space. The Theatre provides a convenient venue for Triangle audiences to experience the diversity of our area's arts and educational offerings. All events listed will be held at Common Ground Theatre. On Thursday April 19, 2012 we lost one of our most beloved wordsmiths. He was a visionary, a bright soul, and an amazing poet. On June 2nd, Black Poetry Theatre is going celebrate the amazing talent of Keenan Gorham as cast members read from a script built completely from Keenan's poems. The script tells a story of love, life, hope and triumph. You will be uplifted and inspired.

Transactors Improv Company Presents: Transactors Experimental Theater: On Deck
Transactors Experimental Theater shows give audiences the unique opportunity to see new improvisational forms for the very first time! Created and directed by company member Mike Beard, "On Deck" plays with using physical levels to influence the action. In this innovative form, where the improvisers are on stage affects where their characters are going.
