The hilarious CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS returns with THE 11TH GLOWER, playing at Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center for 17 performances June 5-28, 2015. This musical parody pokes fun at Charlotte and the nation with uproarious performances featuring original lyrics set to well-known songs.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Apr. 13 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at BlumenthalArts.org, by phone at 704-372-1000, or at the Belk Theater Box Office located at 130 N. Tryon St.

Produced by Blumenthal Performing Arts, Brian Kahn, and Mike Collins, host of WFAE's Charlotte Talks, Broadway meets "Saturday Night Live" meets Charlotte in CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS: THE 11TH GLOWER. The creative team of Kahn and Collins collaborates with the area's most talented singers, dancers and actors to parody pop culture, politics, sports and our beloved Queen City. The show plays every June in Booth Playhouse.

"We're excited to have Squawks returning for its eleventh season as we know it's a show the Charlotte audience looks forward to year after year," said Blumenthal President Tom Gabbard. "We expect this year's show to be one of the best yet given the events that have shaped the news in Charlotte and around the world. The team has an abundant amount of material to poke fun at this year."

CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS celebrated its tenth anniversary with last year's successful production of TEN CAROLINA COMMANDMENTS which sold out several performances.
