Blumenthal Performing Arts is opening McGlohon Theater in response to the change of venue for tonight's DNC event from Bank of America Stadium to Time Warner Cable Arena. The much smaller arena will not be able to accommodate many people who had planned to attend the event at the stadium.

"This public viewing opportunity at McGlohon will offer an alternative to some of those who would still like to be able to experience the speech with others," said Blumenthal President Tom Gabbard.

Seating will be first come, first served. No tickets are required. McGlohon can accommodate about 700 people who will be able to see the festivities and speeches on a big screen system.
