As the 1960s come to a close, Barney Cashman goes about his life in New York with one thought –”Will the sexual revolution pass me by?” Hanover Little Theatre’s 67th season will open with Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Neil Simon’s Tony-nominated comedy about Cashman and his attempts at seduction. Overworked and overweight, this middle-aged and married restaurant owner falls flat in each attempt and realizes in the end that he would prefer a romantic afternoon with his wife, Thelma. The show will run Sept. 11-12 at 8 p.m., Sept. 13 at 2 p.m., Sept. 17-19 at 8 p.m. and Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. A reception sponsored by Rose's Pizza and Restaurant will follow the Friday, Sept. 11 Opening Night performance.
