Cavod Theatre is honored to bring this dazzling show to life! Be transported from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, and find yourself entranced with the story of a brave young woman who sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.

Amanda Lewis

Anastasia
Amanda is thrilled to be back at CAVOD, previously seen in Little Women (Jo March). Other local credits include shows with Sight and Sound, Servant Stage, Magic and Wonder, EPAC and more. Some past favorite roles include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Beauty And The Beast (Belle), Hairspray (Amber Von Tussle), Seussical (Gertrude) and more. Amanda is a dance teacher, a wedding hairstylist and most importantly, a wife and a mom. All her love to Noah.


Richard Weaver

Dmitry
Richard is thrilled to return for his 20th CAVOD show. Growing up in Lancaster County, he has showcased his God given talents in various local theaters, including The Fulton Theatre, The Bird-in-Hand Stage, and The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Favorite roles include Ensemble in Treasure Island at the Fulton Theatre and Laurie in Little Women at CAVOD Theatre. Richard extends a big thanks to his wife Catherine, friends, family, teachers, and God for their support. Glory to God!


Joy Schaeffer

Dowager Empress
Joy is excited to be in her first production with CAVOD! She has been singing, acting, directing, and leading worship for over 30 years. Favorite roles include: Maria in The Sound of Music, Marmee in Little Women, and Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins. Locally, she has performed with Servant Stage, Piercing Word, and recently in Sight & Sound’s film, I Heard The Bells. Joy is grateful for the love and support of her wonderful family!


Michael Lapham

Gleb Vaganov
Michael comes to CAVOD after an extensive 21-year contribution to the Sight and Sound stage, playing many of the well-loved characters of that theatre. Now, he enjoys more time with his wife Kimberly. He continues to direct and aid the creative community including the housing of three Conservatory students of the class of ‘25. Prayers appreciated. “Thank you for the invitation, Monica, to play Gleb and share in the work of this wonderful company.”


Josh Glacken

Vlad Popov
Josh is honored to be in his first show with CAVOD. After studying music performance at IUP, he joined the cast of Sight & Sound Theatres. He’s performed locally with various theater companies and participates in the music program at First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. Recent roles include Max in Sound of Music with Servant Stage & Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly with Susquehanna Stage.


Christen Demnitz

Countess Lily
Christen is grateful to be part of this CAVOD production. Past credits include Sound of Music (Maria U/S) and Tale of Two Cities (Madame Defarge U/S). She has performed with local theatres including The Belmont, Servant Stage, Piercing Word (One Story - Eve/Woman), and Livingston Theater Company (How to Succeed - Rosemary). She also worked backstage for Sight & Sound and aims to bring art to life that brings truth to light. A big thanks to Jesus, family, and friends for their support. <3


Elise Baloche

Maria Romanov/Ensemble
Elise is overjoyed to be part of this show! Acting and singing since age eight, Elise has performed in many shows including Seussical Jr. (Mayzie), Lion King Jr. (Scar), and Hello Dolly! (Teen Ensemble). She is thrilled to be performing with CAVOD again. Thanks to her parents for driving her everywhere, to the Romanov sisters (y’all are the best!) and to Ms. Amy, for “being an answer to prayer in more ways than I can possibly thank you for.” 1 Cor. 10:31


Isaac Baloche

Sergei/Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Isaac is excited to be part of this amazing cast and crew. Performing since he was eight, this is Isaac’s fifth CAVOD performance. Some favorite past roles include Friedrich (The Sound of Music), Cat (Seussical Jr.), and Kristoff (Frozen Jr.). Special thanks to his parents for driving him, his friends and family for supporting him, and to the Lord for giving him his gifts.


Maurice Baloche

Alexei Romanov/Ensemble
Maurice is returning to the stage for his fifth CAVOD performance. Favorite roles include a Wickersham Brother (Seussical Jr.), Claudio (Much Ado About Nothing), Ensemble (Hello Dolly!), Banzai (Lion King Jr.), and Walter Hobbs (Elf Jr.) Offstage you can find him dancing, singing, goofing off with his brothers, and playing sports. Maurice wants to thank family and friends for their support, and sends a shoutout to his younger brother Juden for always supporting him. Psalm 23


Violet Bartlett

Young Anastasia
Violet is overjoyed to be back on stage at CAVOD. She loves dancing, acting, and singing. Some of her favorite roles have been Little Lucie (Tale of Two Cities), Cinderella (Cinderella Jr.) and The Wicked Witch (The Wizard of Oz Jr.). Violet thanks her voice teacher Hannah Stone for always believing in her. Big thanks to the cast and crew - especially her backstage besties, Maurice and Colette. Soli Deo gloria. <3


Taylor Cornelius

U/S to Countess Lily/Ensemble
Taylor is a recent college graduate with a passion for all things musical theater. She is extremely excited to be participating in her first production at CAVOD. It has been a dream of hers to be a part of a production of Anastasia since seeing the show on Broadway in 2018. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her endeavors and being her biggest fans.


Lincoln Everett

Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Lincoln has been in theatre since he was 9 and has been dancing since he was 11. Favorite roles include Gaspard in Tale of Two Cities, Rolf in the Sound of Music, and recently Mush in Newsies at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Lincoln gives all the credit to God for the opportunity to sing, act, and dance. Thanks to his family and friends for always supporting him.


Caleb Heckman

Tsar Nicholas II/Ensemble
Caleb is quite thrilled to be returning to the Cavod stage for the first time in four years! His favorite Cavod credits include The Cat in the Hat (Seussical), Don Lockwood (Singin’ in the Rain), and Jim Dillingham (The Gifts of the Magi). An actor, music director, accompanist, and private teacher, Caleb has LOVED being heavily involved in the arts in Lancaster, including at Servant Stage, The Lancaster Academy, Susquehanna Stage Company, and Creative Pursuits Studio & Academy.


John Henne

Gorlinsky/Ensemble
John was asked by his son Josiah to perform together again at CAVOD! Anastasia is a story about a lost girl who is found, which reminds us of our Good Shepherd Jesus who finds us. Although the storyline is fictional, we wish to honor the actual lives of the Romanov family that ended so brutally. Huge thanks for all the help I received from all the directors, managers, and comrades. Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.


Josiah Henne

Ensemble
Josiah started acting at CAVOD at age 9. Roles include Pumbaa (Lion King Jr.), Michael Banks (Mary Poppins, Jr.), Horton (Seussical Jr.), Buddy the Elf (Elf Jr.) & more. He also enjoys theatre at Veritas Academy, where he played The Wizard in The Wizard of OZ, Peter Pan in Pan! & more. Josiah thanks Monica, Amy, Grace Mae & Abby for their support. Enjoy the show; it’s not a “rumor” you’ll laugh and cry! Vince in bono malum.


Elisha Herr

Count Ipolitov/Count Leopold/Ensemble
Elisha is super excited to be a part of his first show with CAVOD and would like to thank everyone involved for allowing him the opportunity and for being so kind and welcoming. (Especially those who patiently helped him learn how to dance)! In his spare time, he enjoys learning piano, road-tripping, spending time with family, and just about anything that has to do with chickens!


Olivia Hiepler

U/S to Young Anastasia
Olivia is excited for her CAVOD Theatre debut. Past roles include Trixie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Walnut Street Theatre) and Youth Ensemble in Gypsy (Gretna Theatre). She is grateful for all the support from her family and friends. Also big thanks to Tara G and Abby F for helping her dreams become a reality.


Colin Horst

Ensemble
Colin is thankful to participate in his CAVOD debut. Favorite roles include Prince Topher in Disney Goes to Broadway (Encore), Albert in Newsies (Servant Stage), Ensemble in Ragtime and Big Fish (Servant Stage). Colin enjoys drawing and writing and is currently enrolled in The Author Conservatory to pursue a career in writing. Colin thanks his parents for supporting him and his friends for making this show so enjoyable! Finally, he thanks CAVOD for the opportunity to perform in this amazing show.


Sierra Hurst

Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Sierra is excited to be a part of her first theatre production! She has been dancing since the age of nine at CAVOD Performing Arts. Sierra does several styles of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, and worship. At CAVOD she has previously taken part in Ballet Theatre shows including Snow White and Wonder.


Lizzie Knorr

Olga Romanov/Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Lizzie is thrilled to take part in her first musical! Dancing since age two, she is eager to try out theatre. Lizzie has taken part in the Nutcracker several times as well as recitals since she was 3. She enjoys reading and playing with her dog Mozzy. Special shout out to her parents, directors, production team, and this wonderful cast for supporting her in this process! Philippians 4: 6-7


Joanna Mellor

Marfa/Ensemble
Joanna is excited to make her CAVOD Theatre debut in Anastasia! Joanna’s previous roles include The Sound of Music (Nun Ensemble/Party Guest), The Story (Director/Mary) and Already There (Director/Singer). Joanna enjoys singing, playing keyboard, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends. Joanna is grateful to her family for their love and support, to her Savior Jesus Christ for His love and faithfulness, and to CAVOD for this incredible opportunity.


Eliza Moran

Ensemble
Eliza is thrilled to be part of CAVOD’s production of Anastasia! She is a Wisconsin native and an alumna of the Sight and Sound Conservatory and has since been performing with theatres in the Lancaster area. Favorite roles include Meg in Little Women (CAVOD), Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly (CAVOD), and Featured Singer in I’ll Fly Away (Servant Stage). She is truly honored to work alongside this amazing creative team and cast!


Steve Rau

Ensemble
Steve has a music degree from IUP and is thrilled to be back on CAVOD's stage. Past roles include Horace (Hello, Dolly!), Barsad (A Tale of Two Cities), Willy and Jim (Gifts of the Magi), Chip (On The Town), and Alfred (Die Fledermaus). He is husband to Amy, Dad to Hannah and Emily, and has various vocational experience such as music teacher, pastor, financial coach, and rural carrier for the post office.


Jacqui Schaeffer

Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Jacqui is a recent Sight and Sound Conservatory graduate and is stoked to perform in her first production with CAVOD! Recent credits include You Can’t Take It With You (Essie), Nunsense (Lead Swing), and The One Story National Tour (Holy Spirit). Offstage, Jacqui choreographs, works out, and tries as hard as she can to be in 4 places at once. John 21:22


Caitlin Stoltzfoos

Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Caitlin is so excited to be part of her second show with CAVOD Theatre! She is primarily involved in dance, having been an artist with Ornate Dance Theatre, Catalyst Dance Company, and Citylight Dance Theatre, and was an assistant choreographer for CAVOD Theatre’s Lion King Jr. “I am thankful for the wonderful cast and crew, and for the friends and family who have been so encouraging along the way. Soli Deo Gloria!”


Bergen Sunday

Ensemble
Bergen has loved being part of her first production onstage with CAVOD! Behind the scenes, Bergen production manages at CAVOD Theatre and has stage managed a handful of shows. She also works as a Junior Interior Designer at Wise Interiors in Reading. Previous credits include Hero (Much Ado About Nothing), Glory (Almost, Maine), Satan (Encounter) and Peter Pan (Peter Pan). Love to all her new comrades!


Catherine Weaver

U/S to Anastasia/Ensemble
Catherine is thrilled to be part of the wonderful Anastasia cast! She holds a BFA in musical theatre from Samford University and has performed with various companies including Hampstead Stage Company, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, and National Theatre for Children. Catherine works at the Bird-in-Hand Stage and has also performed locally with Magic and Wonder Theater and Piercing Word. Special thanks to Monica, Amanda, and her amazingly talented husband Ric. Alainna Wigginton

Tatiana Romanov/Ensemble
Alainna is honored to make her CAVOD debut alongside this cast and crew in telling this beautiful story! Hailing from Washington State, Alainna moved out to the rolling plains of Lancaster for school back in 2021 and recently graduated from Sight & Sound Conservatory. You'll often find her painting, cooking, outside enjoying the sunshine, and generally savoring life alongside family and friends. To God be the glory!


Anna Wiley

Tsarina Alexandra/Featured Dancer/Ensemble
Anna originally hails from Columbus, Georgia, but she is delighted to be here in Lancaster and making her debut with CAVOD Theatre! Some recent credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, A Christmas Carol, Little Women, and 1776. Anna believes firmly in the power of live theatre to inspire empathy and forge community, and she is honored to have worked alongside so many kind and talented artists to bring this story to life!

Monica DePaul

Director
Monica has been a professional actor, director, and theatre educator for the last 20 years. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton. Favorite roles include Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at CAVOD theatre, Fern Hershberger in Dear Soldier Boy at The Bird-in-Hand Stage and Morgan in Godspell at Prima Theatre. She first started directing at CAVOD in 2018 and is now the Artistic Director of CAVOD Theatre and the Casting Director/Show Director for Blue Gate Musicals. CAVOD holds a special place in her heart as it provides space to create, while bringing people together and in turn, becoming closer to the Ultimate Creator.


Amy Rau

Music Director
Amy has a music education degree from IUP. She enjoys theatre as musical director and pit musician as well as from the stage as a performer! Amy has led worship for several churches, directed choirs, and taught in several schools. She serves as CAVOD’s Office Manager, teaches private voice, piano, group vocal classes, and music directs for CAVOD Theatre, Blue Gate Musicals, PRiMA, and Dutch Apple. She plays keys on the worship team at LCBC and enjoys the empty nest life with her husband, Steve.


Grace Mae Bell

Choreographer
Grace Mae started dancing at age 5 and has gone on to be a part of national tours, danced and choreographed in music videos and appeared as a dancer and actress in the film “The Thorn” which hit theaters nationwide in spring, 2023. Grace Mae teaches eight classes a week at CAVOD specializing in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre. She credits all her career achievements directly to the Lord, from whom all blessings flow.


Abby Swope

Stage Manager
Abby is thrilled to be part of this production. This is her 13th show with CAVOD, between set crew and stage management. Favorite shows include Tale of Two Cities and Anne of Green Gables. She also worked on production teams for her high school shows and is currently an Assistant Technician at Bird-in-Hand Stage. She enjoys reading and long walks on the beach. She would like to thank Jesus, coffee, and Percy Jackson.


Mel Stratigos

Assistant Stage Manager
Mel is thrilled to be working on her 12th (!!!) CAVOD show! If you have done a junior show at CAVOD in the last few years, Mel has probably been on the stage management team. CAVOD’s summer camps are her favorite two weeks of the year. She also got to jump on the stage last year as Minnie Fay (Hello Dolly!) and Sister Sophia (Sound of Music) and works as an audio technician for Bird-in-Hand Stage.


Jessica Zeidler

Costume Designer / Sound Operator
Jessica was asked in 2014 to help with costumes at a theatre she'd never heard of, simply because she knew how to sew. Almost ten years and thirty shows later, Jessica is now the Costume Administrator of CAVOD Theatre. Most recent shows include Sound of Music, Tale of Two Cities and Little Women. She has costumed at various theatres in Lancaster, and dabbles in acting, props, stage management, and audio engineering. Soli Deo Gloria


Kate Beiler

Assistant Costume Designer
Kate has been a part of four shows at CAVOD, including Anastasia! Although this is her fourth show overall, it is only her second time on the costume team. “Working with the team at CAVOD to create these beautiful shows has been an amazing experience and I hope to continue being a part of this theater creating these wonderful shows for many years to come.”


Shana Baloche

Set Designer
Shana stumbled into set work five years ago and her love for theatre and art were repurposed in shows such as: Beauty & the Beast, Hello Dolly!, Lion King, and The Sound of Music. “Thank you, Justin, for your forever support. Thank you, Elise, Isaac, Maurice, Juden and Colette, for all the times we’ve been the last ones to leave because ‘Mom’s doing set.’ Thank you, Cavod, for becoming a home away from home. Thank you, Jesus, for your endless love, and for the creativity that only comes from a truly creative God.”


Dominic Deriso

Assistant Set Designer
Dominic received his BFA from Point Park University in Technical Theatre and Design, and his MFA from Northern Illinois University with a concentration in Technical Direction. In 2016 he served as the technical director for the Arizona Theatre Company, and in 2019, relocated to Philly to work as a shop foreman and technical design engineer for Scenery First, working for cruise ships, casinos, museums, art installations, fashion, and commercial entertainment work. He now lives in New Holland and continues this work in live entertainment through CAVOD. He is blessed by his wife, family, and the CAVOD community.


Phil McLeod

Lighting Designer
Phil graduated from Cedarville University and has been following his love of lighting design at places including Sight & Sound, American Music Theatre, and Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center. He has lit shows at West Shore Christian Academy, Cedar Cliff High School, and Lancaster Bible College, and is thrilled to help at CAVOD. Now a machinist by day and lighting designer by night, Phil has an amazing wife and four kids.


Amelia DePaul

2nd Assistant Stage Manager / Lighting Operator
Amelia is a sophomore at Manheim Township High School. She started doing technical theater in 2021 with CAVOD and has loved it ever since! Favorite shows include Seussical Jr., Little Women, and Sound of Music. She would like to thank God, her friends, and her family for all their love and support. She hopes CAVOD will bring audiences the same joy it has brought her.


Hannah Cress

Properties Designer
Hannah is thrilled to be taking on a new aspect of production management in this show! She has been working with CAVOD for three years and has loved finding her passion in theatre. After graduating, she plans to take on production management as a full-time career! She would like to thank Monica for giving her this wonderful opportunity and sends love to her family and friends for always supporting her!


Elise Baloche

Make-up & Hair Designer
Elise assisted hair and makeup design for Beauty & the Beast Jr. (LAPA), and designed hair and makeup for Elf Jr. and The Sound of Music (CAVOD). “Shout-out to the production team for your sweat, blood, & tears; the cast for sharing your God-given gifts; and Jesus, for every reason.
