Susquehanna Stage has built a commendable reputation for delivering exceptional productions, ranging from beloved classics to lesser-known gems. Their recent endeavor, the Tony Award-winning Falsettos, aligns with this tradition, bringing to life a complex narrative about love, family, and personal identity. While the production does not entirely reach the remarkable heights that fans have come to expect from this community theater, it still offers a compelling emotional journey and several standout performances.

Penn State Centre Stage will produce Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows' 'How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying,” directed by Christopher Campbell, music directed by Joseph Ivan, at the Playhouse Theatre on the University Park campus.

The narrator (Zachary Claghorn) entertained as he kept the audience aware of what book was coming up and set the tone of the show. Our lead Puffs were Wayne (Westley Smith), Oliver (Acell Spencer), and Megan (Bryn Walker). These three worked well together and showed a range of emotions throughout the show. Madison Buckley played Cedric, Voldy, Uncle Dave, Prof Turban,  Zach Smith) and was hilarious with her strength in playing different characters and voices. I highly recommend you seeing “Puffs.” It was a fun show with lots of laughs.

Anyone who loves science fiction, history, and romance will fall in love with Michael D. Fox’s The Time Machine. The Time Machine is a lovely and magical show for audiences of all ages. Catch this production through February 16th.
