York Little Theatre will present DRACULA in The Bon Ton October 23-25, 29-31 & November 1. There is no place to hide in the intimate setting of the Bon Ton Studio where the audience feels as though they are experiencing the action first hand with the characters. The front row sits on the actual stage and will certainly feel the terror that Dracula brings. Innovative use of projections, stagecraft, sound and lighting will have the audience fully submersed in the DRACULA experience.
Directed by Rene Staub, This horror play inspired by Bram Stoker's 19th century novel has a few surprises not found in the original story. Everyone is encouraged to come for a scare and elements of surprise for this theatrical experience perfect for the Halloween season.
This intense thriller presents extraordinary special effects and scares that will have you at the edge of your seat. The cast is led by Ken Bruggeman as the title character, Dracula. Samantha Faller plays Lucy Westphal. Jack Hartman plays vampire slayer Abram Van Helsing. Jonathan Harker is played by Charlie Heller. Dr. Thomas Seward is played by Anthony Crerand. Characters Norbert Briggs and Margaret Sullivan are played by Joel Persing and Rachel Arthur. The bug eating mental patient Robert Renfield is played by Phillip Rearich. Mina Grant is played by Angel Pritts.
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays and 3pm on Sundays. Patrons can save $2 off regular admission price if they purchase tickets prior to opening night.
