Representatives Brendan Flores and Mike Brown from Wells Fargo Bank presented a check for $1,500 to Shannon Hallisey, Director of Education at DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre. This funding partially supports the 16 scholarship students who attended camps at the theatre this summer. DreamWrights strives to provide educational arts experiences for children of all ages and backgrounds and is fortunate to have this support, thereby offering camps to young people who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
Another summer camp season has ended and DreamWrights prepares for new offerings in our Fall Class series. Fall classes will begin November. The current production, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, is in rehearsal and opens October 4th for a 3 weekend run of shows.
DreamWrights, now in its 16th year, is the region's non-profit, family-oriented, community theatre in which people of all ages can come together to learn and grow in a safe, supportive and positive environment. DreamWrights is located at 100 Carlisle Ave., York, and more information can be found at www.dreamwrights.org,www.facebook.com/pages/DreamWrights-Youth-and-Family-Theatre, or by calling 717-848-8623.
