One hundred of Lancaster's most impassioned TEDx enthusiasts will come together on Saturday, May 3rd for a day of networking and dialogue around the theme Break New Ground. The event will take place at The Ware Center on 42 North Prince Street Lancaster and will feature an incredible line-up of speakers on topics ranging from innovations in education to health to technology and the arts. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network at an on-site lunch event. Also, the event will be live broadcast at Millersville University at the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center for free. The independently produced event, operated under a license from TED, was organized by Laura Kendall, Harvey Owen and a committee of community volunteers and is aimed at creating dialogue as well as giving people a forum to share their passions, ideas and experiences.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18th, and only 100 tickets are available. Tickets are $45 per person, which includes entrance and lunch. Those who wish to attend can purchase only two tickets at a time on a first come first serve basis at www.tedxlancaster.com.
