The Belmont Theatre Wins 9 Central PA Broadway World Awards

The Belmont Theatre recently won 9 awards distributed by Broadway World in the Central PA Region. Nominations and awards were based on plays and musicals produced October 2015 through September 2016.

Christopher Quigley won the Best Actor in a Musical category for White Christmas. Ashley & Nicole Dziursinski, twins, one the Best Actress in a Musical category for "Side Show". Amani Weary won the Best Actress Under 25 category for "School of Rock". "School of Rock" won the Best Children's Show category. Aaron Dalton won the Best Director for a Musical category for "Side Show". The cast of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" won the Best Ensemble Performance in a play category. Cal Weary won the Best Featured Actor in a Musical category for "Side Show". "Side Show" won the Best Musical category. Rene Staub won the Best Set Design category for "The King & I".
The Belmont Theatre's next show, the musical Jekyll & Hyde, opens February 17.
