On January 29, Tedeschi Trucks Band (TTB), led by the husband-and-wife team of singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi and guitar virtuoso Derek Trucks, will cap an extraordinary and transformative year with the release of Let Me Get By, their third full-length LP and debut for Fantasy Records. They will tour in support of their new album, and will include a stop at Hershey Theatre on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for this show are $49.50, $59.50 and $75.00 (processing fees apply). They are available at Hershey Theatre Box Office. They can be charged by phone at 717-534-3405 or 800-745-3000, and online at www.HersheyEntertainment.com or www.TicketMaster.com.
Recorded at Swamp Raga Studios, the band's home studio in Jacksonville, Florida, Let Me Get By is an absorbing, self-assured, artistic leap forward. Playing with an economy of power and uncommon grace, the 12-piece outfit-one of the most deeply skilled and admired musical ensembles in the world-explores themes of independence, love and release.
Let Me Get By is an album of firsts - in addition to being the first TTB record Trucks produced on his own, and the first on which he and Tedeschi wrote all the songs within the TTB family, it's Trucks' first album since his 15-year run as a member of the Allman Brothers concluded when the group disbanded last year. In Trucks' own words, "That's what I hear in the music on this new album - this feeling that we're now putting 100% of what we have into this band, not going back to anything else, everyone giving it their all."
Formed in 2010 with a spirit of adventure that saw Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks shelve their equally successful solo careers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, an 11-piece tour-de-force, has quickly become the vanguard of modern roots music. Driven by Trucks, #16 of the top 100 Guitarists of All Time (Rolling Stone), and Tedeschi, blessed with a voice that passionately delivers a range of powerful R&B belters to gentle ballads, the group enlists dual drummers, two vocalists, a three-piece horn section, bass, and a multi-instrumentalist keyboard player for what is a greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts collective.
Combining inspired Memphis soul, electric rhythm & blues, country, rock and classic song craft; TTB has captured the admiration of both concert audiences and critics worldwide. Since their inception in 2010, TTB have seen both of their previous albums debut in the top 15 of the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and won a GRAMMY for their debut album Revelator, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as a "masterpiece." In studio and on stage, TTB continue to flourish and surprise, and the release of Let Me Get By marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in the band's storied tale.

The wristband policy will be in effect for this concert. Fans are permitted on the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex property beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 28. Two hours prior to the on-sale, fans will be directed in front of Hershey Theatre Box Office, where they will be issued a numbered wristband. Wristbands are available for one hour, and at the conclusion of that hour, a selected fan will randomly choose a wristband that will determine the line order. For example: If 1,000 wristbands are issued during that hour and the number 500 is selected, the person wearing wristband 500 will be the first person in line. Numbers 501 to 1,000 will proceed in line behind, followed by numbers 1 through 499. Once the line is in place, fans arriving after the wristbands were issued will be escorted to the end of the numbered line.
