A group of strangers is stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm, one of whom is a murderer. That's the outline of The Mousetrap, one of Agatha Christie's best-known mysteries and the third show in Hanover Little Theatre's 70th season.
The suspects include the newly married couple who run the house, a spinster with a curious background, an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift, and an attorney who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman, traveling on skis.
Quinton Laughman will direct the show, which will have 8 p.m. performances on March 29-30 and April 4-6. There will be 2 p.m. matinees on March 31 and April 7. A reception, sponsored by Giant Foods, will follow the Opening Night performance.
